Day Two.

Our first night with a son went pretty well. The nurses took Elijah to the nursery around 11pm and then brought him in to feed around 1am and 4:30am, and then gave him back to us for good around 7:30am. We could have kept him with us the whole night, but Thursday had been a long day and Chrissie and I both needed some serious shut-eye.

Elijah as a 2-day old.

Elijah was very alert when Grandma and Grandpa came back to play with him.

Chrissie can NOT get enough of Elijah!

People say he looks like me - I don't see it.

Me and my son.

His feet were VERY purple the first day so I was happy to see that overnight they had turned a nice shade of pink.

(this pic is actually one from day one)
I am SO excited to see Elijah grow up and figure out what his passions are. Now, I'm not going to force him to play sports - but doesn't he just look like a natural with a basketball???
