A shower and a goodbye...

On Saturday, I headed to Greensburg (about an hour from here) for a shower for Jacki. She and Brad's wedding is September 6 (I am so excited!) and her aunts threw her a really nice shower. It was bittersweet though, because Jacki left yesterday for Hawaii. No, not for vacation, to LIVE. She took a job there and had to leave now to get started. Brad will obviously join her after the wedding. I am excited for them and sad for me. I am really excited that she has to come back in a month for her wedding, so at least I know the next time I'll see her!

The beautiful flowers from Jacki's mom's garden.
The bride and the mother of the bride. Can you tell they're related?
Taylor girls! I got to ride to the shower with Kelly which was really nice. I know I look huge, but they're just little girls (or that's what I'm telling myself).

The Bedinghaus Wedding...

These pictures are long overdue, but due to camera problems, I just now got them on the computer.

The last weekend of June, we headed out to Lancaster to celebrate Rob and Kate's wedding! It was a beautiful day and we had a lot of fun :). I became friends with Kate around my junior year of college, and Rob and Kirk lived on the same wing. We love them and we are so happy they live in Indiana!

Here's a few pictures from the day...

Kate and her mom collected china for a year before the wedding that her wedding colors in it (pink and cold), so every table was a little different. It was so cool...my plate even had a C on it--impresive!
Just married!
I was pumped I caught them in the act :)
The 4 of us.

We have a little monster...

I remember when I was home right before our wedding, I got to go with my sister Jess to one of her dr.'s appointments. I heard her baby's heartbeat and thought it sounded like a monster. Well, guess what? Today, I got to hear my own little monster! We have a heartbeat and the doctor said everything is progressing just as it should.

Thanks for all your prayers for Baby Duncan!

Surprise Shower for Steph!

On Saturday, after vacation was over, we headed up to my parents house and got ready for a surprise shower for Steph. She is getting married on October 18 and I am so excited for her! Fortunately, we pulled off the surprise and had a great time!

What's a party without bruschetta?
The centerpieces.
The place settings, which by the way, we had set up outside before it started pouring down rain...nothing like a last minute switch!
Of course, only a Dairy Queen ice cream cake would do. We actually ran into Steph and Bob when we were picking up the cake, but fortunately, she still didn't have a clue what was going on.
Steph with her mom and mom-in-law (almost!)
Great picture!
She had a bunch of gifts and was a trooper opening them all.
The pile of gifts (and it got bigger!).
Congrats Steph! Love you :).

A few more pictures...

We had two kayaks to use for the week.
Cami loved swimming with grandma.
He loves the water!
The whole family!
Some of the crew went crabbing. As you can see, my husband is a natural.
How can you not love this face?
Mom and Dad
I loved the jet ski day!
Kirk loved it too (after he and Kevin were lost for 2 hours trying to find our house).

Home!

We just got back last night from a week of vacation! The week started in Lancaster where we had some time with friends and attending the wedding of our friends Kate and Rob. It was a beautiful wedding and we were so happy we were able to attend (pictures coming). Congrats, guys!

After that, we joined Spier family vacation in St. Michael's, Maryland. We had perfect weather all week and we were happy to be all together! Here's a few pictures:

On the boat ride around the bay. Love this picture!
Ignore my hair, just look at the baby.
We love our niece!
Campbell didn't really enjoy this.
Making up games at the pool. That's what happens when you add boys to a family.
The house we rented for the week.

The dock (and Shane fishing).
Spier Sisters.
Such a great uncle!
