Elijah Giggles

Chrissie had Elijah giggling as much as we've ever seen him giggle. Luckily we were able to catch a little bit of it on tape. We've tried posting home videos before and it hasn't worked. However, I think I found out how to get it done this time. Hope it works!

A Visit from Steph

We were so happy that Steph decided to spend her spring break (she is a teacher) with us out here in Indianapolis! We had a great time with her and Elijah loved spending time with her as well.  Thanks so much for coming, Steph! We can't wait until next time :).

Steph was, of course, smitten with the little guy.

He doesn't look too thrilled in this one, but I know he was!

This one was taken today before she left! Elijah was so happy to be hanging with her :).

Also, we had a major milestone while Steph was here! Steph was feeding Elijah a bottle the other night and he held it himself!! This was the first time he's done that, but he held it and drank from it for a solid two or three minutes all on his own.  He hasn't done it since, but we were still pretty excited!

Picture People

While Steph was here, we took Elijah to Picture People for his 3 months pictures.  I bought this adorable outfit and matching hat for his Easter outfit and was so excited to have him photographed in it! He wasn't as smiley as he usually is at that time of day, but we still got some good shots.

Elijah was having fun on his play mat today and I just had to snap a few pictures.  I can't help it...I just have to stare at him! He is just the cutest little guy and it's so fun watching him become more and more observant of the things around him.  

"What mom? I'm just trying to play!"

The life and times of Elijah

Here's some things Elijah has been up to lately. He's growing so much!

He loves sitting on the couch and talking to mommy in the mornings!

He loves sitting on the couch like a big boy and talking to daddy.

He has discovered his rattle! He loves shaking it and watching the little balls move around.

One of his favorite things to do right now is put things in his mouth.  His item of choice is usually my finger.  

It's so funny watching him to try to find his mouth.

But he always gets there!

And of course, he's been giving us plenty of smiles!

This one below is so funny to me.  He looks like one chubby kid!
