Birthday Boy!!!

We had a great weekend celebrating Elijah's birthday.  I will have more pictures later, but here are some shots from Friday, his actual birthday.

We went to Chick-fil-a for lunch.  Elijah was happy about it.

After dinner on Friday we took Elijah to Coldstone for some birthday ice cream.  I think he liked it.

Cam likes her personal space and didn't always appreciate Elijah chasing her, but she did let him lay down next to her for a video on his birthday before bed.

Toy Box Fun!

One of Elijah's favorite new activities is emptying his toy box and sitting in it.  Who knew a basket could be so much fun?

I know I am way past due on these pictures, but the weekend before our anniversary, Kirk and I enjoyed a great night away.  Thanks to Jess C for coming down and taking care of our little guy overnight! Kirk planned a great night out.  We went to a jazz club called the Jazz Kitchen which is fabulous...great food, great music, and while we were there we learned it's one of the top 100 jazz clubs in the world!

2 great years!

After dinner, we went and stayed at the Marriott in downtown Indianapolis.  I took no pictures, but it was a great hotel and we very much enjoyed our night away (and sleeping in!).

Two Great Years!

Kirk and I are celebrating two years of marriage today! It is hard to believe how much has happened in those two years, but we feel so blessed to be doing it all together.  I wanted to post a few of my favorite pictures of the day to relive it all (I try to relive it often...it was definitely the best day of my life!).  Kirk, I love you! Thanks for marrying me :).

We loved our reception at the Talamore.  The first dance was so cool with everyone looking on from the mezzanine above and on the first floor.

We absolutely loved our band Contagious and had a blast dancing the night away.

The band called up the groomsmen and had them sing "My Girl" with them.  I laughed so hard at these guys.

The bridesmaids all got to sing "Proud Mary" with the band.  It was fabulous!

This is one of my favorite memories of the whole night.  Anna really rocked that cow bell!

Elijah has something to say...

That's right. Mommy's gonna have a baby.

She's due August 23rd.

She is almost 8 weeks along and feeling kind of sick lately.

But it will all be worth it when my little bro or sis comes around!

Now, wait, wait, wait.  Did you just say I'm going to have to share all the attention? Ok, this might not be as exciting as I had orginally felt.

Walker Man!!!

In case you haven't heard, Elijah has been walking! We could not believe it, but on Sunday he just decided it was time and has been on the move ever since. It's hard to capture on video because he gets distracted by the camera, but it's cute anyway. This first video has been a little wierd, so hopefully it works, but I definitely know the second video does work! Enjoy.

Happy New Year!

We hope you all had a great new year celebration.  We rang the new year in with some of our great friends, the Barretts and the Brookes.  I wish we would have taken pictures of the Barretts, because we have no proof they were here, but we are so very glad they came! It was pretty low key, but we especially enjoyed watching Mason Brooke and Elijah interact.  Mason and Elijah are about 2 months apart in age and we had a blast watching them crawl around and explore together.  It was like they've been best friends their whole (short) lives.  Thanks, friends, for coming...we had a great time.

Our gate to the kitchen punched a whole in the wall (don't get me started), so the coffee table is acting as a gate.  Rachel and I were cleaning up in the kitchen and came over to see this site at the coffee table.  It cracked us up!

Mason is such a chill kid and so easy to entertain!
