She is almost 8 weeks along and feeling kind of sick lately.

But it will all be worth it when my little bro or sis comes around!

Daddy and me are both so excited (mommy is too, but she's behind the camera).

Now, wait, wait, wait. Did you just say I'm going to have to share all the attention? Ok, this might not be as exciting as I had orginally felt.

Walker Man!!!

In case you haven't heard, Elijah has been walking! We could not believe it, but on Sunday he just decided it was time and has been on the move ever since. It's hard to capture on video because he gets distracted by the camera, but it's cute anyway. This first video has been a little wierd, so hopefully it works, but I definitely know the second video does work! Enjoy.

Happy New Year!

We hope you all had a great new year celebration. We rang the new year in with some of our great friends, the Barretts and the Brookes. I wish we would have taken pictures of the Barretts, because we have no proof they were here, but we are so very glad they came! It was pretty low key, but we especially enjoyed watching Mason Brooke and Elijah interact. Mason and Elijah are about 2 months apart in age and we had a blast watching them crawl around and explore together. It was like they've been best friends their whole (short) lives. Thanks, friends, for coming...we had a great time.

Our gate to the kitchen punched a whole in the wall (don't get me started), so the coffee table is acting as a gate. Rachel and I were cleaning up in the kitchen and came over to see this site at the coffee table. It cracked us up!

Mason is such a chill kid and so easy to entertain!

Today

This afternoon, I got to spend a little time with my good friend, AJ. She lives in Indy but we don't see each other nearly enough. Amy Jo, we missed you and were totally bummed you weren't able to make it!!

A North Carolina Christmas!

Kirk, Elijah and I had a great Christmas with the Duncans down in North Carolina. We were blessed to have the WHOLE family together and we had a wonderful time. I know I have mentioned this before, but I'm thankful to have in-laws that I truly enjoy!

I bought Elijah's Christmas Eve outfit a while ago and literally could NOT wait to put it on him. I mean, have you EVER seen a cuter kid than that?
